You are still responsible to pay the full purchase amount charged to your Card, regardless of whether you are paid back via Split. Split credits to your Card account apply when we receive confirmation that the Split request was completed but may take 24-36 hours to post to your Card account. You can choose to get paid back as a statement credit to your Card account (a Split credit) or to your linked Venmo or PayPal account. Once you select a purchase to Split, select the contacts you want to request to Split with. With Split, you can split pending or posted purchases that are made with your eligible Card in your Amex App. PayPal charges a fee to Send to non-US recipients. There is no fee to Send to US recipients. Once the Send from your Send Account is available in the recipient’s Venmo or PayPal account, you do not have the ability to cancel the transaction. The charge on your Card for an Add Money transaction does not earn rewards and is subject to the Card’s purchase APR. The money you add will be reflected in your Send Account balance. The AMEX Centurion Lounge at San Francisco (SFO) is located at Terminal 3 next to gates F1/F2, which is relatively close to the Terminal 3 security checkpoint. You could also take the AirTrain which says they operate every 4 minutes. If you don’t speedwalk, maybe give yourself 20 minutes to walk over. A quick speedwalk took me and my friend a total of 12 minutes to the Terminal 1 security checkpoint. I was flying out of Terminal 1, and for those of you who are curious, I had to clear security to Terminal 3, leave the secured area of Terminal 3, and then I walked from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1 (all connected indoors). Even though I was departing out of a different terminal that was not connected post-security, my friend and I decided to make the trek. ![]() The perfect opportunity arose when I was flying earlier this week and I was able to visit the AMEX Centurion Lounge at San Francisco (SFO) in Terminal 3. I got my AMEX Platinum Card late last year and hadn’t been able to access a Centurion Lounge yet with the LAX one closed. ![]()
